Lobbying is more than just persuasion. It is about becoming a trusted source of information for legislators and regulatory agencies. R.S. Jolly Consulting is a different kind of lobbying firm -- one that builds long-term relationships and aspires to make the lawmaking process more accessible and accountable to the American people.
Your story deserves to be told, and your opinion deserves to be heard, but media engagement cannot be reduced to a tweet behind a screen. R.S. Jolly Consulting embraces social media but also respects the power of human interaction, personal relationships, storytelling, lived experience, and authenticity.
Data analysis and visualization are powerful tools for advocacy and communication. As the volume of data increases exponentially, so too will opportunities to derive insight, change minds, and improve decision-making. R.S. Jolly Consulting can partner with you to collect, analyze, and present data to make a bigger impact.
Raj founded R.S. Jolly Consulting LLC after a successful career as a civil rights advocate. He was one of a handful of young activists who worked to address violence and discrimination against Americans in the post-9/11 environment. Raj laid the groundwork for modernizing dress codes in the U.S. Army, spearheaded a successful campaign to expand federal hate crime data, rewrote equal employment laws in Oregon and California, and designed an advocacy training program to empower grassroots volunteers. He has spoken at dozens of conferences and been quoted and published extensively in media outlets worldwide. Raj earned his JD from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary and an MS in Accounting from the Kogod School of Business at American University.
